My laptop running 12.04 freezes once per hour, it does not seem to do so when watching videos with xbmc or gaming but when browsing. I tried using Chrome instead of Firefox, i tried using kernels 3.3.6 and 3.3.7 but it still keeps hard freezing. I have used Ubuntu for 5 or 6 years now and i must say each new version has been significantly worse, i do not care about Unity or glitches or bugs, this is free software after all, but i do care about system stability. "ubuntu 12.04 freeze" returns half a million result in Google, this has gone on for some weeks now, is there a some info somewhere about something being done about this? I hate Apple but buying a Mac seems more enticing everyday, i am just fed up with this shit.
