Negative update:
Today as I was watching a youtube video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=fvwp&v=oGN35BeYkeE and at about the
end of the video my gnome-shell froze, but unlike previously this time I am
able to switch to terminal (CRTL+ALT+F1) and restart gnome by typing:
sudo service lightdm restart

Notice that this happens with ubuntu 64 kernel 3.4. I7 3770K + HD4000
+16GB Ram.

I'll be installing an ATI Radeon 5770 graphic card soon, and I shall
report of how it works.

Does any one knows if other linux distributions are facing the same
freezing problem?

Thanks
Alfagulf
