Hello If you have again Ubuntu installed on HD, please try to add nomodeset to the boot line ( boot with left shift hold down if you havent got a dual boot, when grub appear press e select linux line and before 'quiet' add nomodeset , ctrl+x to boot) --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad
