Hi Bryce, I tried the -debug version of xserver-xorg-video-intel:
- Boot the system - Install the .deb - restart X (sudo gdm stop; sudo gdm start from the console) Behavior is still the same :( I tried with the gnome-display-properties applet, xrandr --auto, and the machine's hotkey (which still causes some flickering like things are being set up) but nothing actually comes up on the external display :( Let me know if you want to see the Xorg.log files, but I didn't see anything interesting in them.
