Confirming valid operation of xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.2.1 on xorg 1.3, 1.4 and xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.4.1(intrepid which is almos 2.4.2) on xorg 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5pre.
Both drivers has been extensively used without any sign of blinking, flickering, outage or hanging, for at least a week each. Tested on 2.6.24->2.6.27. The only issue stays open, is slowness with compiz, while no issues with compiz on xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.3.1 upon xorg-1.3 and xorg 1.4.
