This also fixed the issue with my Casio EX-S600.  It's USB id is:

  ID 07cf:1043 Casio Computer Co., Ltd

So, by adding this line:
  SYSFS{idVendor}=="07cf", SYSFS{idProduct}=="1043", MODE="0660", 
GROUP="plugdev"

to my "/etc/udev/rules.d/45-libgphoto2.rules" file, and doing an
"/etc/init.d/udev restart", camera auto-discovery, and photo/video
removal capability started working again. :-)
