I tested using the xorg-edgers script in a live environment and DRI was enabled. Is there any similarly sane way to upgrade the xorg packages in hardy to xorg 7.4 while keeping my ubuntu-desktop etc? This will probably be available in intrepid Ibex but I don't really want to wait 4+ months to use my 3D card when the upstream versions are there to be used.
