For now, I could solve this problem by using the boot kernel parameters
"noapic" and "acpi=noirq" (I didn't try if just one of them is enough
already, I'm just happy being able to type without repeated characters -
now my laptop is usable again).

What I'm missing now: the 2nd cpu core, because with noapic, just one
core of my core 2 duo is used.

Are there any other drawbacks of using noapic?
