With the package from hardy-proposed, this works for me. Could other people who experience this bug please do the following to test the new package:
1. Add hardy-proposed to your /etc/apt/sources.list file, with the following line: deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hardy-proposed universe 2. Install/upgrade dmraid. Your jmicron RAID set should then be visible in /dev/mapper. Please test and report to this bug as to whether the new package worked for you. -- dmraid 1.0.0.rc14-0ubuntu3 crashes on install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221824 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
