I've discovered that if I quit Rhythmbox prior to hibernating, there appear to be no problems with sound on resume. It's worked 3 times so far, anyway...
I've also seen the message box that Steven mentions. One other oddity is that I have yet to be able to successfully hibernate twice in a row - on all attempts after the first, the computer appears to only get part way through the hibernation process (I'm guessing it does a 'save to RAM' but doesn't get as far as saving to disk), then resumes (the kernel log messages indicate that a resume has taken place). I then need to do a shutdown/reboot before I can hibernate again. It sometimes does this on the first attempt to hibernate, but the second then succeeds. -- No Sound After Hibernation U205-S5067 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/144323 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
