Hi, I've just acquired a dual-boot Thinkpad T22 (Windows/Ubuntu on partitioned drive), and I'm a Mac user so sorry if I make a clumsy report. Much of the terminology is new to me.
I seem to have the same bug on HH 8.04, and also it's the same for Suspend as it is for Hibernate: no sound after resuming. Everything else seems normal after Suspend/Hibernate. Also, I checked with Live CD HH8, and the same thing happened there - I suspended the LiveCD and it came back fine, but the sound was gone. Sound is also missing in the Tests in the Sound Preferences at the same time. Plus, a message "Testing Pipeline is not responding" appears. I'll also note that after Suspend there is one other oddity: a small message in the lower right corner of the screen that said something like "Computer did not resume properly after sleep."
