Yet another "me too" from me, considering this is triaged. I was having a slightly different problem than commonly described here, because my Ubuntu Hardy laptop is the server and my desktop is the client. When my mouse was on my desktop, and I clicked something, there would be a varying delayed reaction up to about 5 seconds. But if, when it's having a delayed reaction, I move the mouse, then it continues. So if I click a button, I have the move the mouse after that for the click to register - or wait a few seconds.
So I decided to try making my desktop the server. That's when I started experiencing huge delays and temporary mouse lockups, as described here. Running as root does prevent the problem, even for the server (thanks, PSCArmstrSM!), but a fix would be really nice. -- 2.6.24-8 Introduces Network Issue https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/194029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
