I tried this link at answers.com and video is working fine with sound --> http://www.answers.com/main/healthinationPlayer.jsp?id=Ajei5%2FAJyRCfo9%2Bh%2FjmPZXh%2B6wkqi3OC0
That video is a flash clip BTW and has nothing to do with VLC. Remove and reinstall flashplugin-nonfree. Then test if your flash-plugin is working here --> http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15507 or here --> http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ However, sometimes firefox fails to play flash clips. So, the bug is still there, although the following workaround seems to help. I found that after closing all firefox windows and then reopening the page the clips are working again. -- mozilla vlc plugin not playing media https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212033 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
