Hmm, nvidia does not support 1.2, but is still capable of resolution
switching and rotation etc via xrandr. Make sure you don't disable more
than necessary. And - better to disable controls than to give errors...

There is the possibility of doing like firefox, a "restart required"
notification, but it's not a big deal.

Anyway, apply works now...
