BTW: You compare supporting *GTK* themes with supporting *GNOME* system
settings? The setting comes from their HIG guidelines and (at least to
my knowledge) not from GTK itself.

Everybody is of course free to send wishlist items to the upstream BTS
or mailing lists and suggest his ideas and/or send patches. However, I
personally do not support this request and I will not write a patch. But
I'm just part of the author team and I mainly care about the package
maintenance for Debian. So I informed Olivier to give his opinion.
