Diffstat, which is admittedly ENORMOUS. However:

(1) See description about not building
(2) A good chunk of the changes are in its bundled ffmpeg which is ignored when
we build it.

** Summary changed:

- xvidcap 1.1.6 is out (on cvs...) + debian fixes
+ Feature Freeze Exception: Merge xvidcap from debian-multimedia

** Description changed:

- Hi, I've found that there's this new version on cvs, maybe it could be
- packaged for gutsy...
+ xvidcap has been in the repositories since Dapper but FTBFS'ed since
+ then. The release is now ancient, and debian-multimedia has more recent
+ version 1.1.6, which trivially merges for Ubuntu.

- Since I've done that for my repository, attached you can find a patch to
- fix the debian/ default dir shared with xvidcap; maybe it could help...
+ Since the package has never successfully built in Ubuntu, the chance for
+ regression is low. I could just do a rebuild of our old version and it'd
+ likely work, but for the sake of not releasing with old cruft, I'd like
+ to ask for this merge to be considered for FFE.

- Bye!
+
+ No reverse deps, builds & installs successfully in hardy pbuilder environment.
