Julien : Thanks for the fast confirmation. If you really changed the values of /etc/usplash.conf to xres=1024 and yres=768 before running "sudo update-initramfs -u" and that usplash still does not appears, can you open a new bug report and provide the following informations in that bug report :
1. A detailed description of the problem, including the fact that it worked before. 2. The file created by this command on a terminal : lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.txt 3. The output of this command on a terminal : cat /etc/usplash.conf 4. The output of this command on a terminal : uname -a 5. The actual resolution of your screen when running X (according to System / Administration / Screens and Graphics) I doubt that the "can't get console font: Invalid argument" error is a part of the same bug since I run usplash correctly and I can reproduce that little issue. -- usplash: can't get console font: Invalid argument https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/172600 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
