I have the same issue on a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 AMD running Ubuntu 26.04.
When an external monitor is connected, closing the laptop lid does not suspend the system. The same issue occurs with both USB-C and HDMI connections. The system suspends normally when I select Suspend from the system menu. I have already set `HandleLidSwitch=suspend`, `HandleLidSwitchDocked=suspend`, and `lid-close-suspend-with-external- monitor=true`, but the issue persists. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2150344 Title: Lid close does not trigger suspend when external monitor is connected via USB-C To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-580/+bug/2150344/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
