Public bug reported:

heudiconv 1.4.0-2 (arch: all) is in stonking-proposed and uninstallable:
it depends on python3-nipype, which is no longer in stonking.

On 2026-09-30, nipype 1.10.0-2 and heudiconv were removed from stonking
release ("removed in testing, demoting rdep heudiconv"); heudiconv was
demoted back to proposed, where it can't migrate without nipype.

Debian:
- nipype: removed from testing, only in unstable (1.10.0-2); its autopkgtests
fail on all architectures (reproduced by Debian CI). Upstream nipype 1.11.0
(2026-03) isn't packaged yet.
- heudiconv: trixie has 1.3.2-1, unstable has 1.4.0-2, removed from testing
because of nipype. Only bug: #1149373 (important, Python 3.15 / pydicom).

Upstream heudiconv (https://github.com/nipy/heudiconv) is active (1.5.1,
2026-09).

Nothing in stonking depends on it. Please remove heudiconv from
stonking-proposed to finish the 2026-09-30 clean-up; it can come back
via sync once nipype is back in Debian testing.
