openwsman (2.8.1-0ubuntu1) stonking; urgency=medium
* New upstream release (LP: #1867935)
- fixes FTBFS with CMake >= 3.27 (removed compatibility with
cmake_minimum_required < 3.5)
- OpenSSL 3 support, TLS 1.3, hardened systemd service
* debian/watch: new, track upstream GitHub releases
* debian/patches: drop fix_with_openssl1.11.patch and duplicate-case.patch,
both applied upstream; add python3-install-dir.patch to install the
Python module into /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages; add
systemd-unit-network-target.patch to order the service after
network.target instead of the obsolete syslog.target
* Build the Python 3 bindings again, as python3-openwsman
* debian/control:
- bump debhelper compat to 14, Standards-Version to 4.7.4
- add Vcs-* fields and debian/upstream/metadata
- libwsman_client soname 4 -> 5: replace libwsman-client4t64 with
libwsman-client5
- drop the transitional package libopenwsman1 and obsolete provides,
breaks/replaces and pre-depends workarounds
- libopenwsman-dev: stop depending on the openwsman daemon, add
Multi-Arch: same
- drop substvars as compat level 14 adds them automatically
* Install the systemd unit generated by upstream cmake from
package/openwsman.service.in instead of keeping a copy in debian/
* debian/rules: use dh_auto_configure, disable examples/tests and unbuilt
bindings, drop obsolete workarounds
* debian/copyright: convert to machine-readable format 1.0 and cover the
licenses of the embedded components (shttpd, libu, kazlib, iniparser,
md5, redirect plugin, autoconf macro)
* Drop lintian overrides no longer needed with debhelper 14
