@Linux-Elch: No. I was responding to Andrew's comment that he did not "opt in" to using HWE kernels.
"You're suggesting a fix that downgrades my system from a working 6.17 kernel to version 6.8." It is a possible workaround, but newer hardware may not behave well with 6.8.
