If the rtl8812au module is not building correctly, the kernel may still have issues because of that (even if it booted this time). You should not need the rtl8812au-dkms package with newer kernels. Try removing it, reinstalling the kernel image, and rebooting:
sudo apt purge rtl8812au-dkms sudo apt install --reinstall linux-headers-6.17.0-35-generic linux-image-6.17.0-35-generic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2160563 Title: Kernel 6.17.0-29 and 6.17.0-35 fail to boot with VFS unable to mount root fs on Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15AST To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.17/+bug/2160563/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
