The attached dmesg log is unfortunately truncated and missing some
important context. Please reproduce the issue shortly after booting the
system, export dmesg using the below command, and add it as an
attachment to this bug report.

$ sudo dmesg > lp2157764_dmesg.txt

Additionally, please try this mainline build and see if you can
reproduce the issue there:
https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v7.1.1/amd64/. Instructions for
installing (and later removing) mainline builds can be found on this
wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds.

These steps will help us further understand and isolate the problem.

Title:
  Dell XPS Touchpad (VEN_06CB:00 06CB:CE7E) works perfectly on kernel
  7.0.0-15 but freezes completely within 1 minute on kernel 7.0.0-22.
