This is looking a lot like ALSA/HDA codec state issues in the kernel. Please test with external speakers unplugged, running the following,
# bad state after reboot (before suspend), with nothing external plugged in amixer -c0 cget name='Front Headphone Jack' amixer -c0 cget name='Speaker Playback Switch' amixer -c0 cget name='Speaker Playback Volume' speaker-test -D hw:0,0 -c2 -twav -l1 Then suspend/resume (when audio works) and run the same commands again. Please attach outputs. And apologies, you may need to supply the full path, /usr/share/alsa-base/alsa-info.sh --no-upload -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2154684 Title: Kubuntu 26.04 "Resolute Raccoon" Audio Issue To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2154684/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
