I checked the Lenovo site and there may be a fix in there. I note that there is a newer BIOS <https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-s-series-netbooks/ideapad-slim-5-16akp10/83hy/downloads/driver-list/component?name=BIOS%2FUEFI&id=5AC6A815-321D-440E-8833-B07A93E0428C> available for Windows right now and that might include a fix for the EC firmware. Worth considering.
