Upstream v6.16-rc1 commit ad12f6f914a49 ("media: ov08x40: Add support
for 2/4 lanes at 1500 Mbps") has implemented 749MHz support and surely
it's in linux-oem-6.17. The problem you described for bug 2084059 and
bug 2137700 doesn't seem valid to me.
