Thank you for your bug report. Which language do you use? The standard
keybinding to open the fileselector is ctrl+O and not ctrl-E.
Could you try to start 'transmission-gtk' from a command line and see if
any warning or error is printed when you try to use the keybinding of
menu item to open a file selector?

‘Open Folder’ (Ctrl+E) does nothing in Transmission when installed
