Public bug reported:
When using Transmission installed from the default Ubuntu deb package on
25.10, selecting “Open Folder” (Ctrl+E or context menu) does nothing. No
file manager window opens.
Expected: file manager should open the torrent’s download directory.
This bug affects the transmission-gtk binary package, but I could not select
it. Launchpad reports:
“'transmission-gtk' does not exist in Ubuntu. Please choose a different
package.”
Bug concerns only the GTK frontend. transmission-qt has unrelated issues
that are out of scope here.
