This one's sort of interesting. I was able to put the machine to sleep and get it to resume once, then I put it to sleep again, and encountered the same issue as before. So, you'll see the machine go into sleep _twice_ in this one, it just only logs the resume stuff once.
I did play with the NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations parameter--my _prior_ log was with it set to 1, which seems necessary to get KDE Plasma to actually restore its desktop contents properly in a Wayland session--without this, it's just a total mess with missing icons and such. In _this_ log, I set it back to 0 to make sure that wasn't somehow impacting anything. I'm not sure whether my _one_ successful resume here was just luck, or what. ** Attachment added: "Another previous boot log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-580/+bug/2124978/+attachment/5910013/+files/prevboot.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2124978 Title: Graphics driver (Nvidia) does not resume from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-580/+bug/2124978/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
