Also tested in Plucky. I added plucky proposed and ran an `sudo apt
update && sudo apt upgrade -y && sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-
desktop-icons-ng/plucky-proposed`, and rebooted. Then, I logged in to
the Gnome Shell session and pressed Ctrl+Alt+Tab, and confirmed that the
popup showed "Desktop Icons 1" in the list. So I can confirm that it
works as expected in Plucky too.
