thanks for the quick reply.. Yes the problem occurs on standard  6.14
generic kernal as well.

The original bug was discovered on the official Ubuntu kernel
(6.14.0-27-generic). I only tried the mainline 6.15.9 kernel as a
troubleshooting step to see if the issue was resolved in a newer version,
but the same "probe failed with error -1" occurred on both.


*The issue is present on the standard 6.14 kernel that comes with Ubuntu.*All
relevant BIOS settings (Primary Display PEG, ReBAR, Above 4G, etc.) have
been checked and are correct.
*On both kernels, lsmod confirms the nvidia module is loaded, but dmesg
shows the probe fails.*
