I have looked through the bios settings and can't see anything that allows me to change the amount of VRAM. However I also noticed the screen flashing in the bios setup program! I wonder if this indicates it may be a hardware defect, I also suspect that it occurs more frequently when the system is a little warm, hence the provided video showing it running `stress`.
It is also worth noting that I have previously updated the system firmware using the inbuilt utility, and the last upgrade did not go smoothly. After leaving the system on a blank screen for ~1h, I rebooted the system. It's not bricked, but I wonder if it's possible that the firmware is not entirely OK following that. This system doesn't seem to be supported by fwupd. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115880 Title: AMDGPU: Main laptop screen flashes regularly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.14/+bug/2115880/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
