From bug 2115883 I have also tested newer firmware:
> [ 1094.076522] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0: HW/SW Version: 0x8a108a10, Build Time:
> 20250526152947a
> [ 1094.417510] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0: WM Firmware Version: ____000000, Build
> Time: 20250526153043

And I can reproduce this message:
> juil. 25 11:53:35 portable-alex wpa_supplicant[2781]: wlp194s0:
> CTRL-EVENT-REGDOM-CHANGE init=CORE type=WORLD
> juil. 25 11:53:35 portable-alex wpa_supplicant[2781]: wlp194s0:
> CTRL-EVENT-REGDOM-CHANGE init=USER type=COUNTRY alpha2=FR

When I issue:
> sudo iw reg reload
