The following request appears in the backtrace of the crash:

#20 xdg_toplevel_set_maximized (client=<optimized out>, resource=<optimized
out>) at ../src/wayland/meta-wayland-xdg-shell.c:473
#21 0x0000731b3c02c6de in ffi_call_unix64 () at ../src/x86/unix64.S:104
#22 0x0000731b3c0286cf in ffi_call_int (...) at ../src/x86/ffi64.c:676
#23 0x0000731b3c02ba6e in ffi_call (...) at ../src/x86/ffi64.c:713

This indicates that a xdg_toplevel_set_maximized request was being
processed at the time of the crash.

Additionally, I’ve noticed the following issues:

Sometimes, when I disconnect a screen — while leaving the mouse and
keyboard connected — the windows that were previously on that screen do
not automatically move to the remaining active display. Instead, they
remain in the space where the disconnected monitor used to be. The only
way to make them reappear on the active screen is to move the window
between workspaces.

Occasionally, the maximize button in window decorations stops working.
This doesn’t happen in all applications, but it’s most common in Chrome.
Clicking the maximize button simply has no effect.
