Verification still fails. I think I have installed the right version:
# lscpumf -v
lscpumf version 2.37.0-build-20250717
Copyright IBM Corp. 2020
#

However the s390-tools version still shows 2.37. This version does not contains

cpumf/lscpumf: Add support for IBM z17 counter sets

Add support for IBM z17 machine types 9175 and 9176 CPU Measurement
facility basic, problem, crypto and extended counter sets.

Signed-off-by: Thomas Richter <tmri...@linux.ibm.com>
$ git tag --contains 120ad30f1ee9e0aff21cacb07570f1acc9e0c61b
v2.38.0

So the s390-tools support for the IBM z17 counter set requires 2.38.
Or have you backported this patch to your s390-tools version v.27?

Verification not ok
