Glad to hear there is a workaround for those who don't want to install custom gtk4 packages. I'd be happy to share the packages I built btw. I didn't attach them here because I assumed that might be frowned upon, since they are quite big and sharing unsigned packages might be a security risk.
How can we get this fix into the next point release of 24.04? Could someone familiar with Ubuntu processes suggest a next step? At this point I think it's pretty much established what needs to be done, and that the fix should be merged into the branch for 24.04 on https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/gtk4.git. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2064177 Title: Window borders and shadows missing from GTK3 dialogs (if autologin is enabled and Xorg is used) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtk/+bug/2064177/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
