I did run w/ /dev/video2 for that gst_debug log.
it looks like i get these assertion failures in the terminal output when its
slow to initialize now:

`gst-launch-1.0 pipewiresrc path=/dev/video2 ! videoconvert ! autovideosink`
appears to capture from the main camera and not from the IR camera ?
