Public bug reported:
The Raspberry Pi's tryboot mechanism [1] permits an A/B booting
structure that permits fallback in the event of bad boot assets (or a
bad boot configuration). We already substantially patch flash-kernel for
the Raspberry Pi (to permit moving an image between boards); we should
adjust the existing "pi" method (or add a new "pi-something" method) to
write new boot assets to a temporary location from which they can be
tested with the "tryboot" mechanism.
