Looking at the debian bugs: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1000174 I'd argue this is an edge case, wrong quoting of quotes in a password which results in an error, where you can retry. This should be fixed, but is a minor problem not blocking main inclusion.
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1000176 occurs when one selects password (not ident) auth, and then doesn't supply a password. I'd also see that as an edge case where you may retry. apart from these reports I do see improvement potential for dbconfig-common's setup questions and error handling in general. while trying to reproduce the above errors, I encountered others, which I submitted patches for: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/dbconfig-common/-/merge_requests/12 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115647 Title: [MIR] dbconfig-common To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dbconfig-common/+bug/2115647/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
