Hi Daniel, I'm using Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.
This is the only scenario I can consistently replicate at the moment: - While logged on, change the keyboard layout to one that is not your password's - Lock the screen - With the screen still blank, type you password and press enter (wrong layout for password should be active) - After the system is unable to log you in, change the layout to the correct one for your password Expected: The layout to be left to the correct one for the password Actual: The layout changes back to the wrong one What I initially observed when I first filed the bug was slightly different, but unfortunately I cannot reproduce it. I was typing my password and mid-way the layout would change. Might have been a racing condition and made it seem like a different behaviour when it was actually the same bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2100762 Title: Second language input on lock screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2100762/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
