Hi Daniel,

I'm using Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.

This is the only scenario I can consistently replicate at the moment:
- While logged on, change the keyboard layout to one that is not your password's
- Lock the screen
- With the screen still blank, type you password and press enter (wrong layout
for password should be active)
- After the system is unable to log you in, change the layout to the correct
one for your password

Expected:
The layout to be left to the correct one for the password

Actual:
The layout changes back to the wrong one

What I initially observed when I first filed the bug was slightly different,
but unfortunately I cannot reproduce it. I was typing my password and mid-way
the layout would change.
Might have been a racing condition and made it seem like a different behaviour
when it was actually the same bug.
