Thank you very much Jay for your support in getting this SRU verified! As we can see in comment #65 (PR #952848), Jay used official builds of dnsmasq 2.90-2ubuntu0.1 from noble-proposed (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/2.90-2ubuntu0.1/+build/30942584). And confirms (in comment #66) that using those builds the OpenStack Ironic CI finished without any crashes related to dnsmasq.
In addition to that, the updated dep8 tests can now provide a green baseline (for the first time on Noble): - amd64 PASS, https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-noble/noble/amd64/d/dnsmasq/20250623_084531_48102@/log.gz - arm64 PASS, https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-noble/noble/arm64/d/dnsmasq/20250623_084947_86654@/log.gz - armhf PASS, https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-noble/noble/armhf/d/dnsmasq/20250618_182255_ca6e0@/log.gz - i386, FAIL (badpkg, as on all the other series) - ppc64el PASS, https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-noble/noble/ppc64el/d/dnsmasq/20250623_084806_89d66@/log.gz - s390x PASS, https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-noble/noble/s390x/d/dnsmasq/20250618_182057_f15a7@/log.gz - riscv64 PENDING (but not a regression, as we never had a green test on riscv64 before) The testing regressions reported in comment #67 all seem to be infrastructure failures, and I re-triggered them. ** Tags removed: verification-needed-noble ** Tags added: verification-done-noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2026757 Title: [SRU] dnsmasq on Ubuntu Jammy crashes on neutron-dhcp-agent updates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ironic/+bug/2026757/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
