The bug description hints that this failure as described here doesn't happen all the time, but "often":
> MAAS datasource isn't often ready when cloud-init starts sending requests to it The test plan then asks this: > Verify the machine boots successfully and can be SSH'ed into. If the failure more is *very* frequent, then one deployment might be enough to verify the fix, but could we perhaps: a) do multiple deployments (how many? Unsure: how frequent does the bug manifest itself?) b) or do one, that succeeds, and we can see in logs that the retry this bug talks about was attempted? If such behavior is logged somehow, that is. Option (b) would be a better assurance that the fix is working, if doable. Still on the test plan, this step: > Deploy the proposed image with a bonded interface. How will you get such an image? The CPC pipelines don't produce images from packages in proposed.
