So here is the plan:
- process this SRU, and if ok, accept it into focal-proposed (basically done, 
see comment #32)
- find a good way to test it in focal-proposed (I have to double check the test 
plan still)

If we are sure of the fix, then internally find resources to build a new
focal image for maas. If we can't build a new maas image for focal, then
we won't release this into focal-updates. It might be that a new image
can only be built once this lands in focal-updates, though. In that
case, we release the package. What matters is that we have a commitment
from someone to build these images.
