Ok, there are shenanigans going on with the length of the package
version, as was mentioned here already.

Example (integrity test, with hmac-sha2-512):

openssh/1:9.6p1-3ubuntu13.11+local1: PASS

openssh/1:9.6p1-3ubuntu13.11+local10: FAIL

BUT:

openssh/1:9.6p1-3ubuntu13.11+ccache1: FAIL

openssh/1:9.6p1-3ubuntu13.11+ccache1~202504281203~ubuntu24.04.1: PASS

So it’s not just about length… as the above is much longer, and it
passes.

In all these versions, the banner is matching the package suffix
version, like:

SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_9.6p1
Ubuntu-3ubuntu13.11+ccache1~202504281203~ubuntu24.04.1

Or more generally:

SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_9.6p1 Ubuntu-<version_suffix_of_package>
