BAD NEWS here.

I've just upgraded my desktop, enabling pre-released updates first, and
once again kubuntu-dektop was removed (along with ~350 other packages).

So the same as I saw on my laptop in Bug 2107724.

At the start of the upgrade this message was posted (as it was for the
laptop, but I saved it this time):

=====
Checking package manager
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done

Foreign Packages Installed

The following unofficial packages are currently installed:

go-mtpfs.................Installed from: unknown origin
gocryptfs................Installed from: unknown origin

It is recommended to install supported versions from the Ubuntu
archive, and try the upgrade again.

Do you want to continue the upgrade anyways?

Continue [yN]
=====

This is odd as both packages were installed from Ubuntu sources using apt.
Also, this message was NOT seen on the system I upgraded in #24, despite that
also having both packages installed.
