Journal while logging in moving the mouse with MUTTER_DEBUG=kms > Repeat step 3 until the bug happens again.
For what it's worth the bug is repeatable 100% of the time. just start moving the mouse when logging in and keep moving it for 10 seconds or so, long enough so that it's obvious that the Gnome screen doesn't show. Assuming you're using Ubuntu you can probably see it for yourself. ** Attachment added: "journal.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2089709/+attachment/5874219/+files/journal.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2089709 Title: Ubuntu 24.04 sometimes logs in to a black screen if the mouse is moved during login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2089709/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
