Here's what I've got so far: First off, my system can't see the usb drive I inserted (even after I did a cold boot). As a result, I'm unable to copy the requested logs and upload them using the laptop I'm working from now :(
However, I took a look at term.log (nothing jumps out as being an issue) yet history.log reveals that there may be an issue with ubuntu-desktop needing to be reinstalled (which has obviously failed) as well as a reinstall of gdm3 (I don't know what that is). After running $ journalctl -b -1 there's [Firmware Bug]: TSC_DEADLINE disabled due to Errata; please update microcode to version: 0x22 (or later). Also, pnp 00:01: can't evaluate _CRS: 12311 Yes, there's more and somehow I need to be able to get these logs uploaded.
