Hi, Done both: - Please try resubmitting your logs + hw info with "apport-collect 2079859", like Philip mentioned - See if booting with just "ro loglevel=7 i8042.nopnp=1" makes your touchpad work again
The touchpad does not work yet, saw all green OKs during the boot with the above grub settings. Here is what I can find out with dmesg: sudo dmesg | grep ELAN [ 4.777572] elan_i2c i2c-ELAN0618:00: supply vcc not found, using dummy regulator [ 4.893906] elan_i2c i2c-ELAN0618:00: Elan Touchpad: Module ID: 0x005b, Firmware: 0x0001, Sample: 0x0002, IAP: 0x0000 [ 4.894216] input: Elan Touchpad as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:15.0/i2c_designware.0/i2c-0/i2c-ELAN0618:00/input/input6 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2079859 Title: Lenovo V130-15IKB kernel 6.8 not booting from nvme To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2079859/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
