Performing verification for Jammy. I deployed a fresh baremetal server running Jammy in the Server Lab, installed ubuntu-desktop and rebooted.
The kernel is 5.15.0-117-generic from updates: 5.15.0-117-generic #127-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 5 20:13:28 UTC 2024 $ sudo apt-cache policy virtualbox virtualbox: Installed: 6.1.50-dfsg-1~ubuntu1.22.04.1 I downloaded a Ubuntu server iso from cdimage, and made a new virtualbox VM. On starting, I get "Guru Meditation" and in the logs I see 00:00:02.191995 emR3Debug: rc=VERR_VMM_SET_JMP_ABORTED_RESUME I then enable proposed2 and installed 5.15.0-119-generic: 5.15.0-119-generic #129-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 2 19:25:20 UTC 2024 The virtualbox VM started up normally.
