@ Detlef Bracker: I understand your frustration. But, it should be acknowledged that the developers' have promptly responded and committed the appropriate changes in a reasonable amount of time. Kernel version 5.15.0-119 should fix the issue and be available in the official repositories (presumable also in downstream Linux Mint) within the next few weeks. Please be just a bit more patient.
